In such a growing season as 2012, the blending process brings unmitigated joy. Predominately Cabernet Franc, the 2012 Red Wine is a highly aromatic blend layered with warm spices and floral lavender notes. This wine has a fresh, sweet and textural mid-palette lent from our hillside Merlot, with a substantial tannin profile for the long haul. Both modern and classic, the 2012 Red Wine has compelling richness, length and concentration with a traditionally rendered structure. 242 cases were produced.

Each year, we produce only a small amount of our Red Wine magnums. The 2012 Red Wine is predominately Cabernet Franc and a highly aromatic blend layered with warm spices and floral lavender notes. 2014 Sauvignon Blanc

The 2014 Sauvignon Blanc harvest began early in August and much like the sunny and mild year that produced it, this wine is bright with fresh oranges and rich with summer peaches. A touch of Sauvignon – Musque clone offers a highly floral top note of Daphne flowers. With 220 cases produced, this wine is pleasant and approachable and will keep you interested all the way to the bottom of the glass.

Dense and balanced from the start, this wine exhibits a warm, dark, brooding entry, and has aromas laced with chocolate, cinnamon and cedar. It proudly exhibits distinct dried herbal notes characteristic of classic Cabernet, followed by flavors of plum, black cherry, and wet stone. With generous and plush tannins, it opens rich and broad across the palate and ends with a long and structured finish. With decanting this wine is immediately appealing but patient cellaring of 10-15 years will further enhance the beauty of this remarkable wine.

The 2011 “First Strike” Cabernet Sauvignon is an inviting wine opening with dark notes of plush black fruits & allspice. Earth, sandalwood & hints of pipe tobacco offer complexity & interest. Aging in French oak barrels provide toast notes & touches of mahogany and ash. Merlot rounds out the middle palate. This wine has a pure heart & an easy drinkability. 2013 Sauvignon Blanc

The 2013 Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant white wine. Blended from Sauvignon Musque & Blanc, it is perfumed with notes of lemongrass, citrus blossoms & beeswax. It is rich with flavors of ripe nectarine & hints of orange peel and grapefruit. A ripe yet fresh style of Sauvignon, this is bright on the entry with a crisp salinity. Fermented in stainless steel barrels & new & used French oak, this wine is kept on its lees without racking to preserve aromatics & develop richness and texture.
