Steve and Seanne Contursi

PROPRIETORS

Proprietors Steve and Seanne Contursi share a deep passion for Bordeaux wines, particularly those highlighting Cabernet Franc, inspired by their early travels through Bordeaux in the mid-1980s. Their vision ultimately led them to Napa Valley, where they acquired the Arrow&Branch Estate Vineyard in Coombsville in 2007—formerly owned by Napa Valley legend, Tony Soter. Committed to organic farming, they continued to elevate vineyard practices originally alongside viticulturist Michael Wolf and today with Domenick Bianco.

Steve, a lifelong numismatist, built one of the nation’s most respected rare coin firms, Rare Coin Wholesalers, and has handled over $2 billion in historically significant coins. His career includes record-breaking achievements, such as the sale of the famed 1794 Flowing Hair Silver Dollar, underscoring a legacy rooted in rarity, history, and craft —values mirrored in the wines of Arrow&Branch.

Together, Steve and Seanne have built a life centered around family, entrepreneurship, and shared passions. From their work in both wine and numismatics to their growing family and creative ventures their story is one of dedication, stewardship, and an enduring appreciation for craftsmanship.

Jennifer Williams

WINEMAKER

In April 2011, Jennifer Williams joined Arrow&Branch as Winemaker, bringing with her a wealth of experience shaped by some of Napa Valley’s most respected names, including Rosemary Cakebread, Françoise Peschon, and the Novak family. Her path began in 2002 as a harvest intern at Araujo and Spottswoode, where she developed a deep appreciation for organic and sustainable farming. She went on to become Vineyard Manager at Spottswoode in 2004 and Winemaker from 2006 to 2011, earning recognition as a “Winemaker to Watch” by the San Francisco Chronicle in 2007. Raised in rural Valley Center near San Diego, Jennifer’s passion for agriculture began early, influenced by the fruit trees on her family’s property and a fascination with how farming impacts flavor. After studying agriculture at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and gaining hands-on experience in Napa Valley, the Central Coast, and Spain’s Rioja Alavesa, she built a career rooted in both the vineyard and cellar. At Arrow&Branch, she works closely with Vineyard Manager Domenick Bianco, championing organic practices and a vineyard-first approach to crafting wines of precision and depth.

Domenick Bianco

VINEYARD MANAGER

Domenick Bianco leads vineyard management for Arrow&Branch with a focus on thoughtful, site-driven farming. As the Principal of Bianco Winegrowing, he brings over 15 years of experience farming premium vineyards across Napa Valley and beyond. His work is rooted in organic practices, vine balance, and long-term soil and canopy health. A third-generation Californian from a farming family, Domenick began his winegrowing career at Etude Winery and held the vineyard leadership role at Joseph Phelps. He is known for his quiet drive, hands-on approach, and deep connection to the land shaped by years of walking the rows and solving real-time challenges. In 2022, Domenick acquired Michael Wolf Vineyard Services and rebranded as Bianco Winegrowing.  Today, he works closely with the Arrow&Branch team ensuring every block is farmed with precision and care, keeping a focus on organic practices and supporting the estate’s vision for quality and longevity to produce world class wines.
