“The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Vine Hill Ranch Vineyard comes from a great valley floor site on the western side of Oakville. It comes from two different blocks and is a mix of Clone 4 and Clone 337. Its purity and precision are something to behold, and it has a complex bouquet of cassis, spring flowers, chocolate, and spicy oak that is nicely integrated into the background. Full-bodied, multi-dimensional, and incredibly layered, it makes the most of this great vintage.”
